Expanded capacity in Milan
Schenker Italiano S.p.A. has expanded its capacity in the greater Milan area.
The new Land Transport hub boasts 11.000 square meters og warehouse space equipped with the latest safety systems and state-of-the-art technology such as hydraulic ramps on all 53 loading docks. The hub also includes 1.500 square meters of office space.
The gateway is to run more than 22.000 shipments a months including dialy and weekly connections to and from major industrial centers across Europe as well as shuttle to branch offices in Italy.
The total DB Schenker Village in Peschiera covers more than 73.000 square meters including three intracommunicating facilities that help to streamline the handling of goods for Air and Ocean Freight and the nearby Logistic premises.
