Possible strike in Norway
The decision of a strike will not be taken before the night between Sunday May 9th and Monday 10th.
Schenker Norway can handle shipments as follows partloads delivered to receiver in Norway, i:e. No terminal handling in Norway. Ordinary groupage will be handled as normal with the exceptions DO/RO i.e. Fredrikstad, Kristiansand, Ålesund and Trondheim. Export from Norway will be possible from the following terminals: Alnabru (Oslo), Bergen, Bodø, Drammen, Kristiansand, Hamar, Sandefjord, Stavanger, Trondheim and Ålesund, with the following specifications: Partloads and groupage can be handled from all terminals mentioned above to all countries, with the exeption of Switzerland, Italy, Austria and the United Kingdom.
We kindly ask you for your understanding that Schenker AS is not able to handle client specific solutions during an eventual strike.
