Strike in Norway ended

The strike amongst Norwegian transport workers is ended and terminals may start up normal activity from June 7th.

Members of the Norwegian Transport Workers’ Union (NTF) in Schenker AS have ended the strike and will be back at work from June 7th 2010.  Shipments which need a terminal handling can be sent to and from Norway from the same date.  Direct deliveries are possible to do as before on both import and export shipments. Ocean and airfreight are not affected.            
We deeply regret that our services have been hit hard due to the strike and the challenges that this creates for you and your customers.
