Consequences of the strike in Norway
The challenges we are facing after the start-up of operation have increased during the week.
Due to accumulated shipments, all materiel is in use and distributed in our national network. We are working on speeding up the materiel rotation. Even though all potential materiel is in use, the terminal in Oslo keeps on being full with shipments. This has lead to capacity shortage on termi-nals, railway and materiel.
We will keep on working hard to operate the high freight volume by using overtime and extra or-dinary transport capacity until the situation has stabilized.
We kindly ask again for your understanding and patience for not being able to provide the normal leadtimes, increased waiting hours at the terminals and not meeting planned slot times in Oslo. We expect this situation to last also next week.
